First Aid is Module 10 of the Adult Training scheme.
All adult leaders and Managers should hold a first aid qualification. The minimum requirement is a First Response qualification (approx. six hours training course).
Higher levels of first aid qualifications are needed to be a trainer in first aid or two carry out adventurous activities such as hiking or camping in terrain two. Definition of terrain two can be found here
First Response courses should be renewed every 3 years through a two hour refresher course. A refresher course can be delivered twice before adult needs to complete a full first response course.
